It will be a conference of GNU/Linux enthusiasts, with speakers on same platform to talk on various topics pertaining to GNU/Linux's present and future, various technologies and how to implement them using GNU/Linux.

Same as previous. Talk , Discuss, Participate, Present, Show your current work and involvement in FOSS. not a fix guidelines but it is open.
During Meetup
While you are at the Event you can use !GeekMeetupD or !lugiitd or !iitdlug to share something about the event on Identi.ca so that it appears on Group timeline.
Restriction of Meetup
- Do not promote non-free, non-foss stuff.
- Do not promote non-standards aka close standards
- Do not promote software patents
- Do not promote DRM
- Please try not to have debate or flamewars on these restrictions. Use the mailing list for this purpose.
- try avoiding Windows or Mac os
- ppt and pptx format based presentations are "strictly not allowed",alternatively you can convert the presentation in pdf or odt or any xml.
- Try using LibreOffice, S5, HTML, LaTeX, ASCII text
